Minimum education requirements:
1 course in entomology plus background in biology
Job description: field and laboratory work in the western Negev:
- collecting live insects and sticky traps, identifying insects from carrots
- rearing insects, plants, doing transmission trials
The candidate must be a:
- self-starter,
- very organized and methodical,
- computer skills (Word, Excel, some statistical analysis),
- good laboratory techniques including dissection microscope identification of insects.
Duration: 3 years, starting immediately

תיאור תפקיד:
העבודה במעבדה ובשדה (גזר) בנגב המערבי כוללת בין השאר:
איסוף חרקים חיים, מלכודות דבק, זיהוי חרקים, גידול חרקים, גידול צמחים, ביצוע ניסויים ואיסוף נתונים.
המועמד חייב להיות עצמאי, מאורגן ושיטתי, בעל מיומנויות מחשב מעולה (לפחות וורד ואקסל, רצוי גם שליטה בתוכנה לניתוח סטטיסטי), טכניקות מעבדה כולל זיהוי חרקים (מיקרוסקופ/בינוקולר).
תקופת ההעסקה: עד 3 שנים. המשרה פנויה מיידית.
