The Interlibrary loan department provides faculty and students with books, chapters from books and journal articles that are not part of the library collection from other libraries in Israel and abroad in accordance with copyright laws.
The Copyright Law prohibits photocopying or printing of substantial parts of copyrighted material without the copyright holder's permission in excess of "fair use" for any purpose other than private study, scholarly research, review or criticism.
Anyone who prints or photocopies in violation of copyright laws may be liable for copyright infringement.
The fees are determined by the Hebrew University Library Authority.
Book from Hebrew University library - 10 NIS
Book from another university library - 16 NIS
Book from a college library - 25 NIS
Articles : first 10 pages or less - 18 NIS (each additional 10 pages - 8 NIS)
Articles from abroad : 75 NIS or according to the rate and policy of the service provider
Payment : cash or budget number

To order a journal article or book from another university or institution please fill out and send the following forms:

or contact the ILL librarian by email.
New service for Faculty Staff
You can now order articles or chapters from the library collection at the cost of interlibrary fees.
Every order handled by the ILL Department must be paid for even if the patron no longer requires the service. Non-payment will result in loss of library privileges.
