Agromyzidae
A large family of small, cosmopolitan flies in the sub-order Brachycera (Diptera). Their larvae are leaf miners, stem borers, or rarely form plant galls. Some species are host-plant specific pests whereas others, like Liriomyza huidobrensis and Liriomyza trifolii attack many commercial plants. Other pests include Ophiomyia phaseoli and Pegomyia cunicularia.
