Fruit moths
Moths (Lepidoptera), such as Ectomyelois ceratoniae and Cryptoblabes gnidiella, that are attracted to the sweet secretions (honeydew) of Pseudococcidae) infesting fruit (especially citrus). The moths oviposit there and the emerging larvae excavate shallow tunnels in the sepal area, but cannot complete their development and die.
