Gracillariidae
A family in the order Lepidoptera, with over 1,000 described species. They are small moths whose narrow wings bear long fringes (setae). The adults may be recognized by raising the anterior part of their bodies when at rest. Commonly called leaf blotch miners because larval mining in leaves causes such blotches.
