Sesame phyllody
A disease of Sesamum caused by a mollicute and transmitted (vectored) by Neoaliturus haematoceps. The disease is manifested by all floral parts occurring as green leafy structures, by vein clearing in the inflorescences, which are replaced by small, twist-like appearance. Any capsules formed contain no viable seeds.
